Fans were quick to praise the “Jolene” songstress’ cheerleading outfit, with Gen Z influencer Paige Spiranac even reposting a pic from the concert with the caption, “Dolly Parton is 77 and wearing whatever the hell she wants. I love her.”

So, how does she do it? Here’s what we know about the wellness regime that keeps Dolly Parton looking eternally youthful …

Getting up early

The music icon, who is also Miley Cyrus’ godmother, previously shared in an interview that she wakes up early. Very early.

“I get up early. … I’m usually up by 3 o’clock. I go to bed early, but I’m just an early bird,” she said on NBC’s The Today Show back in 2018.

“I get up, I do my little meditations, I do my little spiritual work,” she added. She also makes sure to keep her mornings very productive. “I do more work between 3 [a.m.] and 7 [a.m.] than most people do all day, because it’s quiet and the energy’s all low, except mine. So I just really get a lot done.”

“Rejoicing exercises”

In a conversation for WSJ Magazine’s My Monday Morning series in 2021, Parton said she does her own “rejoicing” exercises – and confessed that she isn’t a fan of going to the gym.

“I create my own rejoicing exercises! I grew up in the Pentecostal church where we used to do a lot of shouting and jumping around. I keep my motor running in the mornings when I just shout through the house praising the Lord,” she said.

“It gave me an idea to create some easy exercises, and I’m making music to go along with it. Something that even people in wheelchairs or people that are older or sick can do.”

Eating well

Maintaining a healthy diet is an essential part of Parton’s daily regime. “Through the week I’ll eat things like egg salad on toast with tomato, and sometimes I’ll have a bagel with cream cheese, cucumbers and tomatoes,” she told the Wall Street Journal.

“I try to stay on my low-carb diet during the week, and then when I know I have a day off, I say, ‘Make me a pan of cornbread,’” she also told Parade.

Botox and fillers

Unlike many celebs who have denied undergoing any procedures or cosmetic surgery, Parton isn’t afraid to share what work she’s had done over the years.

“Thanks to Botox and fillers, as well as the work that I’ve already had, my face pretty much maintains itself. I look at myself like a show dog. I’ve got to keep her clipped and trimmed and in good shape,” she quipped in an interview. “If I see something sagging, bagging or dragging, I’ll get it nipped, tucked or sucked,” the Today show reported her as saying. “I’ll never graduate from collagen.

“People always say I look happy and I say, well, that’s the Botox. Good lighting, good make-up and good doctors, that’s my secret,” she joked.

Has Dolly Parton had surgery?

The “9 to 5” singer has told media about the cosmetic procedures she’s done. Per Fox, she’s famously been quoted saying, “It costs a lot of money to look this cheap.”

In an interview on The Oprah Conversation in 2020, she shared, “I ain’t never gonna be old because I ain’t got time to be old. I can’t stop long enough to grow old! I’m gonna look like a cartoon. I’ll have on the make-up. I’ll look as young as my plastic surgeons will allow me and [with] all the make-up and lighting and all that. But I think more than anything, it’s about what comes from inside you.”

Per UK media, she has had her breasts augmented and had some operations on her face as well.
