LaLiga Fantasy MARCA: Probable XIs for Week 22

On Saturday Alaves will face Celta Vigo and the home side will be hoping the heavy snow in the Basque Country doesn't compromise their LaLiga battle.

The weather forecast is optimistic and there seems to be no risk of suspension, but the home side have already prepared themselves in order for the game to be played.

On Friday morning Alaves removed the snow that had accumulated on the Estadio Mendizorrotza pitch, since the forecasts indicated there would be no abundant rainfall during the day.

At the moment, the pitch is ready to host the duel and the club shared images of it late on Friday night.

It is expected that the temperature will rise a little throughout the day and the Basque club are confident there will be no problems for the anticipated clash against Celta.

If there is snow, then it will not be the first time Celta arrive in Vitoria-Gasteiz accompanied by the white stuff.

In March 2005 both teams met at the Estadio Mendizorroza and there was also a possibility of delaying the match due to snow, but referee Alvarez Izquierdo decided for the game to take place at the scheduled time.

The away side took home the victory thanks to a hat-trick from Jandro (3-0).
