Horse No 1 CHEER FOR SOUTH (H178) E C W Wong After the race, Apprentice E C W Wong reported that the intention was to lead the event tonight.

He said after CHEER FOR SOUTH jumped a little awkwardly, it failed to show sufficient pace to lead despite being ridden along in the early stages.

He added that as a result CHEER FOR SOUTH settled further back than intended.

He further stated that after racing wide and without cover for the majority of the event, CHEER FOR SOUTH finished the race off in a one-paced manner.

A veterinary inspection immediately following the race did not show any significant findings.

Horse No 2 NOBLE ONE (G278) C Y Ho From a wide barrier was shifted across behind runners in the early stages.

Horse No 3 PODIUM (H173) K H Chan Jumped only fairly.

Horse No 4 SONIC BOOM (H144) K Teetan On arrival at the Start, it was noted that SONIC BOOM had blood in its mouth.

SONIC BOOM was examined by the Veterinary Officer and passed suitable to race.

Jumped only fairly.

Sent for sampling post-race.

Horse No 5 WIND SPEEDER (E281) L Hewitson From a wide barrier was shifted across behind runners in the early stages.

Horse No 6 YEABOI (G372) M Chadwick Jumped only fairly.

Horse No 7 VIVA A LA (G282) M F Poon Sent for sampling post-race.

Horse No 8 TIMESTORM (G109) H Bowman Sent for sampling post-race.

Horse No 9 ISLAND SURPRISE (E429) A Hamelin Shifted out after the 150 Metres, resulting in A Hamelin having to stop riding and straighten.

Horse No 10 AUGUST MOON (D409) Z Purton After the race, Z Purton reported that after leading the event AUGUST MOON did not respond to his riding in the Home Straight and could offer no explanation for its disappointing performance.

A veterinary inspection immediately following the race did not show any significant findings.

Horse No 11 CIRCUIT SPLENDOR (E482) M L Yeung After the 150 Metres was steadied when crowded between TIMESTORM and ISLAND SURPRISE (A Hamelin) which shifted out before being corrected by its rider.

A Hamelin was advised to exercise more care.

Horse No 12 EASY TWO (G423) Y L Chung From the outside barrier was shifted across behind runners in the early stages.
