The conviction came after a civil jury heard the lawsuit accusing him of raping her in New York in the 1990s. During the lengthy interview, Daniels complained about how her relationship with Trump has affected her.

She called him "an orange stain that's going to be on me for a long time" and said the affiliation is "like a scarlet letter but worse."
