After five seasons of tension between Quinn and cast member Chrishell Stause, there still seems to be no rest from drama for the latter. The trailer for season six, which aired on May 19, already showed glimpses of tension between Stause and newbie Young, who is ready to step into Quinn’s shoes.

But just who is Young? Here’s what we know about her.

Nicole Young is a seasoned property agent

Young, 37, hails from Minnesota and attended Baylor University in Texas where she studied marketing and public relations, per People. She initially worked as a marketing consultant before making her way into the property business.

She started working at the Oppenheim brokerage in Los Angeles in 2014 and has been a part of the team for almost a decade.

She has sold US$100 million worth of property, according to Deadline, and is the brokerage’s longest-standing and highest-paid agent.

She was supposed to be on Selling Sunset from season one

Young told People during an interview that she had initially agreed to be a part of the cast for Selling Sunset’s inaugural season in 2019, but got cold feet.

“I simply wasn’t ready to reveal anything about my life to the world,” she said. Four years later, and with a decade-long career at Oppenheim, Young re-evaluated her decision and jumped on board for not only the sixth but also seventh season, which is said to have already started filming.

She’s good friends with the O-group girls

Having been at the brokerage for 10 years, Young is not only familiar with the Selling Sunset girls, she’s also good friends with the agents like Mary Fitzgerald and Amanza Smith.

Eagle-eyed fans have probably noticed that Young has not only cameoed on Selling Sunset, but she was the one who officiated at the wedding of Fitzgerald and Romain Bonnet in 2019 during season two of the show.

To top it all off, Young has known the group’s founder and president Jason Oppenheim for 15 years.

She used to date Jason Oppenheim

Viewers knew from the start of season one that Fitzgerald and Oppenheim had a brief relationship well before the show started airing.

A couple of years later, both fans and the O-group girls were surprised by Stause and Oppenheim making their relationship public instead. The pair seemed to be taken by each other and things were getting pretty serious … but it ultimately came to an end when the two decided they wanted different futures.

The plot thickens, though – Amanza Smith revealed to Us Weekly that Young and Oppenheim used to be in a relationship as well.

She married Brandon Young in 2017

Young has been married to Brandon Young for six years now and although his own Instagram account is set to private, he makes frequent appearances on Nicole’s social media posts along with their two fur babies.
