Chiefs were the leading contenders to win the Super Bowl just a few weeks ago, so they should theoretically be the NFL odds-on favorite in this game due to their difference-making quarterback and an unstoppable offensive gameplan.

The problem, however, is precisely that Patrick Mahomes suffered a sprained ankle in the Divisional Round game against the Jacksonville Jaguars. He was not at full strength in the AFC Championship win over the Cincinnati Bengals.

Chiefs became the NFL's all-time leader in regular season offensive statistics, racking up a total of 7,032 yards through 17 games.

Chiefs head coach Andy Reid has a gameplan primarily based on passing; 5,062 of their total yards from scrimmage came through the air, while only 1,970 were via the ground game. The Eagles' stout defense is ready for anything and is one of the best in the league. They have a weakness, though: the run defense.

Philly is the team that conceded the least amount of yards to their opponents throughout the season, both in the playoffs and in the regular season.

They also lead the stat in passing yards allowed, only giving up an average of 96 per game in the postseason. Quarterback Jalen Hurts has shown throughout the season that he has the necessary skills to lead a championship team and is capable of offering variations in the RPO.

If Eagles win, they would stop the opponent's winning streak, who have won 12 of their last 13 games and are in high spirits after the important victory over Cincy.
