Jaden Smith just turned 26 on July 8 – and his artist girlfriend Sab Zada celebrated by doing what she does best.

The social media influencer wrote a poetic birthday post on Instagram accompanied by a photo dump of the couple looking loved up, sharing with her 950,000 followers, “You are sweeter than Skittles falling through a rainbow on a Sunday afternoon. I love you and I’m grateful gravity was on the right side of history to bring us together,” she wrote, professing her love for the “Icon” singer.

Jaden and Zada have reportedly been dating for almost four years after being first linked in 2020. The couple were photographed hand in hand at Coachella in April this year and later in May for the Los Angeles premiere of Will Smith’s new film Bad Boys: Ride or Die. In April, Jaden also posted a photo of him with Zada on his arm, captioning it, “Life lately.”

The picture ended up going viral, with celebrity aggregate Instagram account @hypeandhiphop reposting it with the caption, “Jaden Smith’s girl smiling while bro zoned out thinking about the political and economic state of the world,” juxtaposing it with a clip from a previous interview in which Smith complains about people his age seemingly not caring about those issues.

But that clearly wasn’t enough to quash fans’ curiosity about Sab Zada. The rising musician recently drew attention for her EP Hafren and her latest single “Signs” was released in May. She is also a strong advocate for women’s rights and has spoken up in favour of gun control using her platform.

What is Sab Zada’s background?

Sabrina “Sab” Zada is a 25-year-old model, influencer and musician from Texas. She is of Filipino, Chinese and Hispanic descent, but she shared on the What’s Their @? podcast that her DNA details from 23andMe revealed much more than that. However, she does not know her parents’ ethnicities because she doesn’t have a close relationship with them.

Zada grew up with her mother until she was 14, when her mother left. Then she lived with her aunt on her mum’s side until she was 18 or 19 before going to college. She does not have a relationship with her dad, but is close to an uncle on her dad’s side and was briefly close to her paternal grandma.
