She’s also recently faced a health scare: on a July 3 episode of her podcast The Squeeze, she revealed she discovered a concerning lump on her breast, sparking fears of breast cancer given her family history. Fortunately, the lump turned out to be nothing but a false alarm.

Taylor Dome is a registered nurse

Dome graduated from the College of the Canyons in California in December 2019, thanking Lautner for his support during her schooling on Instagram. Dome kicked off her nursing career as a cardiac nurse at a hospital in Los Angeles, in 2020.

During Nurse’s Week on May 2021, in the midst of the pandemic, Dome made an Instagram shoutout to health professionals everywhere, thanking them for their tireless work and service to others.

It is unclear whether she still works as a nurse today though, as her bio on The Lemons Foundation website states that she left her job during the pandemic due to “depression, anxiety and severe PTSD”.

She’s a mental health advocate

Dome is the founder of Lemon by Tay, which provides accessible mental health tools, resources and support. A percentage of the proceeds from the merchandise are donated to The Lemons Foundation, a non-profit organisation founded by Dome in 2022, aiming to “make mental health resources, services and support more accessible and to be a light for those who are struggling”.

In February 2023, Dome launched a mental health podcast, The Squeeze, with Lautner.

Taylor Lautner’s sister was their cupid

Lautner’s sister Makena Moore introduced Dome to her brother after becoming besties with her through a church in Nashville.

Lautner told People that Moore once called him, saying, “Dude, I found your future wife. You need to meet this girl.”

In a February 2022 episode of the Kelly Clarkson Show, Lautner talked about how the loved up duo eventually met. Their meet-cute happened at a game night hosted by their wingwoman, Moore, where the two Taylors hit it off – and the rest is history.

Now, you may wonder if Dome is a fan of Twilight, considering her husband’s iconic role as Jacob Black. Well, Dome was – but as part of Team Edward!

Dome took part in the popular trend on Instagram in 2022, “show your childhood crush and the person you ended up with”, posting pictures of Robert Pattinson as vampire Edward Cullen.

She’s an OG Swiftie

But Dome’s love of pop culture doesn’t end there. She’s also a Swiftie. Yep, you heard that right: Dome is a huge fan of her husband’s ex. Taylor Swift and Lautner dated briefly after meeting on the set of Valentine’s Day in 2009.

In an interview on Nick Viall’s podcast The Viall Files in 2023, Dome declared herself as “OG T. Swift fan”. Dome went to one of Swift’s concerts way back in 2010.

Dome later attended Swift’s Eras Tour concert in Kansas City, Missouri together with her new beau in July 2023, posting a photo of the “Three Taylors” on Instagram. Lautner joined Swift briefly onstage during the show.

After tying the knot in November 2022, Dome took her husband’s last name and changed her legal name to Taylor Lautner. That’s right – two Taylor Lautners are living under the same roof. Speaking on The Kelly Clarkson Show back in February 2022, Lautner joked about their naming situation, saying, “We’re literally going to be the same person.”

In an episode of the Good Guys Podcast in October 2022, Lautner revealed it’s complicated to share the exact same name with his wife, especially when it comes to packaging, saying, “When I’m buying stuff for her, and she’s buying stuff for me – we’re going to have some surprises spoiled if we open the wrong Taylor Lautner package.”

On Dome’s 26th birthday in March 2023, Lautner surprised her by inviting a tattoo artist to their home and inking a special design – their wedding date (11.11.22) – on their left wrists.
